Founded in Uganda, Namsal Climate Concern International has been at the forefront of grassroots environmental initiatives, emphasizing community engagement and sustainable solutions since its inception.

At Namsal Climate Concern International, our Theory of Change is built on the belief that sustainable climate action must be community-driven, scientifically informed, and inclusive of both people and nature. Our ultimate goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate the impacts of climate change while strengthening the resilience of rural and urban communities.
We work by equipping communities withclimate-resilient practices such as agroforestry, climate-smart agriculture, and ecosystem restoration that restore degraded lands, increase food security, and sequester carbon. Through plastic waste management initiatives, we reduce pollution in waterways and landscapes, safeguarding aquatic life and protecting biodiversity. Our community-led conservation and animal protection programs help restore wildlife corridors, reduce human-animal conflict, and protect endangered species, ensuring that ecosystems remain balanced and functional.
To strengthen preparedness, we support the development of early warning systems, enabling communities to anticipate and respond to climate-related disasters. Meanwhile, climate education and awareness campaigns empower households, schools, and leaders to take informed action and adopt sustainable lifestyles. This transformation is only possible through long-term partnerships, with local communities at the center, supported by government collaboration, private sector innovation, and external funding partners who share our vision of a just, climate-resilient future for both people and animals.
